The results of this project enable a sharing of suggested practices, and provide a synthesis of recommended practice examples by transportation, environmental, and regulatory agencies regarding the utilization of vegetated buffers, filter strips, and grass swales as a primary stormwater treatment for post-construction rural roadside applications that will facilitate support for gaining more widespread acceptance by state regulatory agencies.
